This building houses laboratory and research facilities as well as the company headquarters and administrative office space. This project was initiated following a major LEED Platinum addition to the original laboratory building and when the building operator was not satisfied with the building performance. The savings resulted from additional upgrades to the original building that were not included in the upgrade project scope, as well as additional fine-tuning of the LEED Platinum building addition. This project won the 1st Place ASHRAE Technology Award at both the local and regional levels.
