The ERTC serves as the Illinois center for the continuing education of personnel involved in the operation, maintenance, and management of drinking water and wastewater treatment systems, including additional training for licensed plumbers and certified water operators. This facility features photovoltaic panels on the roof and a wind turbine. This facility includes many of the original pneumatic controls, and many problems and opportunities were discovered during this study.
